These are fresh made to order so they will need to cure for a little while. You can use them straight away, but they will be a little soft and not last as long as they should.
To cure soap: Store the bars in a cool, dry, and airy place away from direct sunlight, allowing them to harden and lose excess moisture, typically for 4-6 weeks.
Why Cure?
Curing allows the soap to fully harden, lose excess water, creating a harder bar of soap and longer shelf life.
Tips for Curing:
Store the soap bars spaced apart, allowing air to circulate around them. You can use a bookshelf, cooling racks, open cardboard box, linen cupboards…
